Need Feedback for 2011 V6 Manual RS Camaro
SLP sent me to this site to ask this question. I'm looking to put either a power-flow or Loud Mouth 2 exhaust on my V6 manual 2011 RS Camaro with a black wing intake. The question is " does anyone or has anyone heard or have one of these exhausts?" I heard all the videos they don't help because you can't tell how it sounds inside the car and also live sound is much different then video. I just want my car to sound more aggressive I don't want much droning inside the car. Your help and feedback is much appreciated as I no squat about this stuff.
Thanks Jim |

Congrats on the new camaro first off! You're going to love it. Man can't believe SLP recommended that you come to C5 with your question. Go us. Now onto your question, the LM II exhaust is a pretty solid exhaust. Increase in sound, deepens the tone a bit, and from what I have heard/read their isn't much drone. I don't know anything on the power-flow exhaust system sorry.

Hey Jim,
Welcome and congrats on the ride. I don't have either of the exhausts your looking at but I did the same thing and listened to the videos a lot for increased interior noise. There will be an increase in interior noise and drone but a lot of it depends on speed / rpm, driving style, etc. If you sped a lot of time in traffic at lower speeds or find the drone too much, you may want to check out Dynamat for the trunk and under the rear seat area.

I would recomend listening to all the sticky videos and try to see what fits your personality. Drone and aggressive kinda run together so you have to figure how much your drone to aggresive tolerance is. I will say based on what you have stated in your OP I think MRT 2 will be your choice even though I don't have it myself. Just a hunch. If you like a lower tone magnaflows work but you really need Long Tube headers to make them sing right

You want no drone? Go SOLO pal. It's a killer set up. Cruise in slightly louder than stock bliss and revel in WOT fun. You want some in cabin video? Here you go. My set up is a CAI Inc intake, Stainless Works LT headers with HFC's and SOLO Mach X LLT exhaust. Put on a set of good headphones.
